Garden Glory

Garden Glory
By: Tina Marie Brown

I take each day and notice
all the beauty that’s around
for a garden is a work of art
which emerges from the ground.

I love to watch the sunrise
As it hits the fallen dew
I love to see each flower
as it opens in full view.

And I find that I’m most thankful
for a cool and gentle breeze
when I’m working in my garden
with dirty hands, on bended knees.

  1. I wrote this poem years ago for a garden club that I was a member of. We printed it with a beautiful picture, laminated it and made it into a refrigerator magnet. Years later the poem was published by my Father in his yearly Dahlia Club Catalog.
